MTC FLU?

Adam wrote to let us know that even though he is feeling a bit under the weather and he is on Tamiflu, he is still having great spiritual experiences. He has tested negative for H1N1.

Elder Lourenco is loving the MTC and says he is having many spiritual experiences. ( but has not given us many details yet.)

We received our first letter from Elder Lourenco. It seems the he is fulfilling lifetime goals for himself, which is, eating and going on a mission.

Adam tells us that, even though he had not yet received his name tag, during a layover in Detroit, a couple recognized him as a missionary headed for the MTC.

Adam has made it safely to the MTC. Has made some new friends. His companion at he MTC is Elder Ayala. Adam is excited about the spirit that exist there in the MTC. and we are very happy for him.

Elder Lourenco has received cards and letters from many of you already and says thank you.

On Tuesday, June 9th we brought  Adam to the airport. Said our good-byes and Adam's flight departed at 12:18pm

Hello everyone,
We are starting this blog to keep you up to date on Adam's mission. (we are kinda new to this so bear with us as we get started.)

On June 8th, 2009) at 8:00pm Adam met with the Stake President, President Maxfield, and was set apart as a Full Time Missionary serving in the Oregon Eugene Mission, English speaking.

Since Adam as been set-apart Adam (Elder Lourenco) will no longer be able to maintain his facebook account himself. I will be up-dating as often as I can. Adam has also handed his cell phone to his little brother Alex. Elder Lourenco gets to call home (parent's) twice a year, Mother's Day & Christmas. No more late night calls to hear his golden tone.
